What are BRC Global Standards?
BRC Global Standards are Quality and Safety Management Systems for Food and Packaging Materials developed by the British Retail Trade Organization and they mainly target companies supplying supermarkets in the UK and the Netherlands. It is clear that standards (BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution and BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Material) are addressed to export-oriented enterprises that have the appropriate infrastructure to meet the increased requirements.
